Palm Blaze model K22L is the best Quality Compact Flashlight using the 2nd generation Luxeon K2 LED from Silicon Valley (San Jose, California, USA). The K2 has improved battery efficiency, generates less heat, and higher brightness than the Luxeon V. It has the convenient front switch and a trademark square beam for the K2. This is one of Best American Technology. * Warning: There are some non-Luxeon made counterfeit 1W, 3W, and sometimes even claim 8 Watt LED on the market. They are half as bright at best and have a bluish color beam. Their light will be greatly reduced after just few hours of use due to poor quality and poor heatsink property. They are much cheaper but they are definitely not the quality of Luxeon. They are usually shipped out from Hong Kong. What arrived is a bit better than how this item is described. It comes with two batteries (prices on these batteries vary widely!!), and the instructions say: "10hrs HIGH (Maximum Output: 5 hrs), 40hrs LOW and 20hrs FLASHING." Not sure how "Maximum Output" is different from "HIGH."

You have purchase this flashlight; this light is simply amazing. I am so impressed by the brilliance of the light!!!!
I have several flashlights (10+) ranging from 25-85 lumens. This little flashlight outshines them all by a very significant margin.
I recommend this product for home and recreational use. The housing is constructed of thin lightweight aluminum. I don't think it would hold up to the rigors of heavy duty usage or abusive environments.
Great bang for the buck. Another website sells an earlier version of this 130 lumen flashlight for less.

Wanted an LED for around the house and work. Tried this because of the price. I am very impressed. For such a small, light, cheap light it puts out amazing amount of light and feels like it is very well made. I would highly recommend.
