| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description At a mere 96g with batteries, the Quad is the lightest in Princeton Tec's line of regulated-LED headlamps. Four Ultrabright LEDs power through the darkest conditions. The LEDs are safe forever inside a tough waterproof housing that will survive severe impacts and water submersions up to 1 meter. The wide beam of the Quad is perfect for tasks around camp and is bright enough for technical scrambles and brisk runs on dark trails. Equipped with regulated LEDs that maintain constant brightness and a battery power meter. Compact design rotates 90 degrees to illuminate any situation. Allows the use of lithium AAA batteries which reduce the Quad's weight to 82 grams. Performs better in extremely cold temperatures, and significantly increases regulated burn times on all modes. Strap buckle doubles as tool to open battery pack. Lifetime warranty.

good light but small crack developed December 14, 2008 Steve (Nebraska USA) Very handy light. Runtime on high beam is short before low battery warning begins, so I try to keep it on low or medium which still puts out plenty of light. Tiny crack has developed at the top of the housing and extends a bit onto the top of the lens.
Good product November 2, 2008 Burt Peterson (Gold River, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good product. If used while running it tends to slip down on the head over time.
Great LED head light August 9, 2008 William Brummett (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I mounted this on a hard hat with hook and loop tape so I can switch back and forth between the head strap and the hat. Very bright and I like having the light wherever I turn my head. Nice comfortable strap high, med, low power settings (and flash). Very long battery life on low (and flash).
Princeton Tec Quad Headlamp April 28, 2008 S. Golden (New York, NY) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Having used both, this headlamp is better than the competing Petzl Tikka Plus. The Quad has a better switch, is more waterproof and gets better battery life, and Princeton Tec is an American company. Hope this helps.
Can't live without January 31, 2008 C. Simpson (Worcester, MA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this headlamp, and made it a frequent flier this year at Christmas. Once you have one of these, for walking the dog at night, seeing in dark spaces around the house, it becomes indispensable.
