| Mag LED Flashlights |
Maglite flashlights have been around for years and are one of the most respected brands. While many competitors have been offering LED lights for some time, Mag had not offered LED lights until very recently. They now have a complete line, including LED drop-in modules that can be used to replace the incandescent bulbs in older Mag flashlights.
The new Mag LED flashlights are somewhat more expensive than the older technology but offer increased brightness, a whiter light, longer battery life, and you never have to replace the bulb. We say it's well worth the extra money.
Welcome to new world, Maglite. |

| Green Lasers | Green laser pointers such as this BTG Class IIIa Laser at first appear to be similar to common red laser pointers sold in office supply stores. But appearances are deceiving.
First of all, you wouldn't use a green laser in an office presentation - red works just fine. Green is much more powerful than red. With a green laser pointer at night, you can actually see the beam, not just the dot at the end. Hit clouds and point at stars.
So what is the compelling practical use for green lasers? Well...none. It's the "WOW" factor that makes it a gadget lover's dream toy. It is simply a lot of fun to play with. That's all.
